Coney island & Lorong Halus


When I look back at Fook Guan and Mei Ping’s pre-wedding photos at Coney Island and Lorong Halus Wetland, I honestly have to remind myself we were still in Singapore. The whole vibe just felt like an overseas getaway.


We spent the afternoon exploring Coney Island, wandering under those massive, towering trees and finding little secluded stretches of beach. As a solo shooter, my favorite thing is just stepping back and letting couples be themselves without overly posing them. Fook Guan and Mei Ping made this incredibly easy. They were so relaxed just hanging out together, which made the whole session feel effortless.


We ended the day over at Lorong Halus just as the sky was starting to change. The tall reeds and the quiet atmosphere gave us the perfect space to catch a gorgeous, warm sunset to wrap up the shoot. If you want pre-wedding photos that feel a little wild and totally unlike the usual cityscape, this session is exactly why I love shooting out here.
